The need for the services of an expert, consultant or professional service provider may arise from time to time.

Consultant selection is based on a competitive evaluation of relevant criteria. The consultant selected shall have the ability, experience and integrity to provide the scope and standard of service required by JBC.

Consultant Selection Criteria:

• Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance, i.e., the consultant shall
  be qualified to perform the work categories on the project.
• Specialised experience and technical competence in the type of work required.
• Past performance on contracts with regional and international organisation, national and
  local government agencies and private industry.
• The capacity to accomplish the work in the required time.
• Understanding of the project.
• Approach to the project as proposed by prospective consultants.
